The DBWL, which is still a work in progress has been going on for close to 15 years.
The origins of the DBWL actually lies in the pipe dream of two friends, Cedric D. Lynum and Keith M. Hines. In 1991, after meeting and becoming rapid friends, due in large to their love of wrestling, the first thoughts were tossed out. The two, bound and determine wanted to own their own wresling league. So the CKWL was born.
The Cedric Keith Wrestling League, was started with an uncertain future. It was soon decided that CKWL wasn't the proper name for a wrestling company, so CKWL became CK Sports, and served as the parent company of the International Wrestling League or IWL.

With the brand new name, Cedric and Keith was ready to conquer the world. However being teenagers, it was difficult to start their own league, so to pass time, they made the IWL into a fictional based league. Together they came up with some very interesting storylines and refined their story writing skills. All this paved the way for the major breakthrough in the faithfull summer of 1995, When the DBWL was set to take center stage.
